Foundry labourer • Blaine County, Idaho

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Blaine County, Idaho. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. The role involves: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Ideal candidate: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
