Now hiring: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in De Baca County, New Mexico. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles On the job you will handle: • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
