Visual inspection operator — San Juan County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in San Juan County, New Mexico. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing Requirements: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
