Tile installer — Haines Borough

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tile installer in Haines Borough, Alaska. You will work at a bathroom renovation job. On a typical shift you will lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
