Tracked excavator operator — Catawba County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Catawba County, North Carolina. You will work at a road and highway construction project. Your main tasks: • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage Requirements: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
