Blocklayer — Albemarle County

Join our team: we are hiring a blocklayer in Albemarle County, Virginia. You will be based on a commercial construction site. Requirements: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks On a typical shift you will setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
