Die-casting operator • Ido-Osi, Ekiti State

Now hiring: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Ido-Osi, Ekiti State. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. On the job you will handle: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
