We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Glacier County, Montana. On the job you will handle: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Full-time, day shift.
