Site safety steward wanted in Shiawassee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site safety steward in Shiawassee County, Michigan. You will be based on a road and infrastructure project. On the job you will handle: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges You should have: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
