UPVC welding machine operator — Craighead County

Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Craighead County, Arkansas. You will work on site fitting windows in new-build flats. On a typical shift you will read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash. Requirements: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
