Ironing operator wanted in Stanly County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Stanly County, North Carolina. You will be based in a busy laundry. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine On the job you will handle: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience.
