Glass and glazing technician wanted in Fluvanna County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Fluvanna County, Virginia. You will work at a busy glazing workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames • Install toughened and laminated safety glass • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass Requirements: • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter • Own basic hand tools an advantage Meals and transport allowance provided.
