We are recruiting: escalator technician (Kansas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an escalator technician in Jackson County, Kansas. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. On a typical shift you will adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
