Immediate opening: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Meigs County, Ohio. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection The role involves: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
