Offshore rigger wanted in Medina County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Medina County, Texas. You will be based on a high-rise building site. You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear You will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; read lift plans and method statements before starting; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
