Furnace operator wanted in Crockett County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a furnace operator in Crockett County, Tennessee. Day to day you will shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
