Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Eket, Akwa Ibom State. Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols The role involves: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise 1+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
