We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Alamance County, North Carolina. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Day to day you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift.
