Now hiring: we are hiring a furniture maker in Santa Cruz County, California. You will work at a shopfitting company. What we are looking for: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Good eye for detail and a clean finish Day to day you will cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions.
