The role involves: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket 3+ years on the tools preferred.
