Garment machinist wanted in Norman County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in Norman County, Minnesota. You will work at a busy garment factory. Day to day you will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
