Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in Leavenworth County, Kansas. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. Your main tasks: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Full-time, day shift.
