Immediate opening: we are hiring a press machine operator in Mason County, Illinois. Day to day you will report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; set up and start the machine as per the job card; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature. What we are looking for: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
