Urgent requirement: crawler dozer operator (Florida)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Columbia County, Florida. Day-to-day duties: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes Requirements: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
