Site safety steward — Preston County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a site safety steward in Preston County, West Virginia. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
