Sewing machine operator — Nowata County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Nowata County, Oklahoma. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. On a typical shift you will operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Meals and transport allowance provided.
