Gantry crane operator — Nantucket County

Join our team: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Nantucket County, Massachusetts. On the job you will handle: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Current medical and eyesight certificate Meals and transport allowance provided.
