Fire and safety officer • Babura, Jigawa State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Babura, Jigawa State. The job is in a chemical processing unit. You should have: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate You will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. ₦90,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
