Immediate opening: mining dozer operator (North Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Dare County, North Carolina. You will be based on a dam or embankment job. Day-to-day duties: • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank Ideal candidate: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Six days a week, one day off.
