Trainee butcher — Leicestershire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Leicestershire, England. You will sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools. Requirements: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler We offer £2,550 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
