We are recruiting: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Kennebec County, Maine. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings On the job you will handle: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Give each garment a final press before packing • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments 5+ years on the tools preferred.
