Overhead (EOT) crane operator wanted in Cape Girardeau County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri. You will work on a bridge and infrastructure project. Your main tasks: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Strong attention to safety and load limits At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
