Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Bath County, Virginia. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Day to day you will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
