Lathe programmer-operator — Marathon County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Marathon County, Wisconsin. Day-to-day duties: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
