Plasterer — City of Galax

Great opportunity: we are hiring a plasterer in City of Galax, Virginia. You will be based on a busy domestic building site. The role involves: • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat You should have: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day 2+ years on the tools preferred.
