Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Borough of Torbay, England. You should have: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts The role involves repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer £3,000 per month plus benefits.
