Great opportunity: sewing machine operator (Akwa Ibom State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Obot Akara, Akwa Ibom State. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. The role involves inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Full-time with occasional weekends.
