Lifting rigger wanted in Screven County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Screven County, Georgia. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Confident with standard crane hand signals Day-to-day duties: • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
