Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator technician in Clarke County, Alabama. Requirements: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Your main tasks: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
