Now hiring: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Phillips County, Colorado. The job is in a busy paint shop. Requirements: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth The role involves: • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow 6+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $25 per hour, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
