Semi-automatic welder — San Joaquin County

Join our team: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in San Joaquin County, California. You will be based at an automobile body shop. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
