Split AC fitter — Douglas County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a split AC fitter in Douglas County, Illinois. The job is on new-build apartment projects. The role involves cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines; mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them; commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow; charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges; run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall; check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge. Ideal candidate: • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
