Protective coatings painter wanted in Redcar and Cleveland

Vacancy available: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in Redcar and Cleveland, England. You will work on a residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job • Measure up and work out paint and material quantities • Sand and fill walls before applying primer • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding • A good eye for clean lines and an even finish • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator Part-time with flexible hours.
