Access scaffolder — Jackson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an access scaffolder in Jackson County, Michigan. You will work on a busy construction site. You should have: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Able to read basic scaffold drawings You will hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
