Crane rigger • Monroe County, Ohio

Join our team: we are hiring a crane rigger in Monroe County, Ohio. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Your main tasks: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
