The role involves clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile. You should have: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads Performance bonus on top of base pay.
