Refrigeration service engineer wanted in Palo Alto County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Palo Alto County, Iowa. The job is in a commercial cold storage facility. Day-to-day duties: • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Service split AC units and VRF systems You should have: • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns 6+ years on the tools preferred.
