Rigger — Trumbull County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rigger in Trumbull County, Ohio. Day-to-day duties: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
