Garment machinist wanted in Columbia County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment machinist in Columbia County, Florida. Day-to-day duties: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
