Lift technician — City of Martinsville

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift technician in City of Martinsville, Virginia. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. On the job you will handle: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance 6+ years on the tools preferred.
